Who You'll Learn From
Lessons are led by Markus Illko, Grammy Award–winning guitarist, composer, and founder of Lost Note. In 2024 he won Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards for his arrangement of "Folsom Prison Blues" with The String Revolution and Tommy Emmanuel, produced by John Carter Cash. He's Austrian-trained, has performed across three continents, and has also written music for the Primetime Emmy Awards and the Tokyo Olympic Games campaign.

What happens at your first lesson?
You'll meet your coach, talk through what you want to get out of lessons, and play. You'll leave with a clear next step.
Do I need my own guitar before I start?
No. We have instruments at the studio, and loaners are available if you need one while you decide what to buy.
I don't know what style I want to play yet — is that a problem?
Not at all. Most students figure it out in the first few lessons once they've tried a few things.
Can I switch between studio, home, and online later?
Yes. Plenty of students start in one format and move to another as their schedule changes.
How does billing work?
A monthly membership, billed automatically, reserves your weekly slot. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice.
Can I sign up more than one family member?
Yes — book adjacent slots and the second family member gets 20% off during our back-to-school offer.
